Just want to let you folks know I'm joining the Sebenza crowd and please bear with my English as this is not my
first language.

My Sebenza was bought on the first day of ECCKS (3/10/00). After weeks of looking at the pictures I felt I got to have
this knife.

The picture with da' man was taken on the show's last day, because the first 2 days were crowded and I do not want to interfere with da' man's business with customers.

With patience, I got my chance and politely asked da' man if it's alright to shoot pictures and a picture with him.

Positive, Wow! I'm thrilled. Now, I do not only possess a Sebenza but also have picture with da' man who makes this
great knife.

This knife will go with me on my upcoming vacation to Manila and have folks down there use it in food preparation for the town fiesta. It will slice about 3 hogs, 20 kilos beef, 4 dozen chickens, about 50 kilos of fish, and whatever is there to cut.

I'm confident that Sebenza can do the job that's why i'm already saving money to buy the plain small Sebenza and the plain
Umfaan. I want the plain trio and the decorated trio.

My Sebenza membership application pictures can be viewed here,

and when approved, I can go through the ritual of Sebenza salute and secret handshake.

Wow, what a way to start your hobby, getting it straight from Chris is a real nice touch! And welcome to the forum too!
By all means, let us know how your trip goes with the knife and all the work you have planned for it. If you don't have a Sharpmaker 204 already, I'd reccomend one, they really make keeping a razor edge on a Sebenza an easy chore.

Oh and Chris, please try not to smile so big, control yourself a little, you seem too excitable there!

Welcome 2d_edge, your English is fine.

I have the plain small and large Sebenzas and ordered the plain Umfaan for the matching Zulu Trio.

I also ordered a Small Left Handed Wooden Inlay Sebenza today.

It's my birthday.

Sebenzaitas... I like that.

I must have it too. Being a dealer, I can carry anything I want and a large, plain, (well worn) one rides my belt. I'm infected.

At the rate I've been selling them it must be reaching pandemic proportions.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I just learned that this virus resulting to "sebenzaitis gottahaveitisis" is so contagious, physical contact not necessary, mere visual contact will transmit the "sebenzaitis gottahaveitisis" virus to your system and rapidly bring you to the advance stage of "completesetisis sebenzaitis".

As of date there is no known cure but to live with it and enjoy.

Anyone else afflicted by different strain of Sebenza virus?

"Sebenzaitis Waitingis"

Mark are experiencing anxiety, restlessness, and drooling whenever you you see or think of Sebenza?

That's the strain that really gives pain. You must have physical contact with a Sebenza to accelerate Sebenza cells formation to your system.

Go to your nearest knife dealer and hold one for few minutes. Go! Go!

You should know that this is only temporary relief until you're constantly in touch with Sebenza.
