'Ey there! The knowledge base here is fantastic, though. Questions about steels, requests for purchase recommendations, modification requests/how-tos, etc - Heck, I found this forum from constantly google searching "(blade steel) vs (blade steel)" and "(knife) review".

Quick word of advice: This forum, like any forum about a hobby, is going to have plenty of people who are zealous/confrontational/holier-than-thou about what they do and do not like. Don't get sucked into an argument, because it'll prove to be a frustrating experience and a monumental waste of time. Friendly discussion typically prevails, however :)

I havnt been here too long myself, but its amazing here. (Mostly) friendly people, good admins and mods, people are knowledgeable, and so on.
But what sticks out are Jackknife's stories.
Carl deserves a damned medal.
Look him up sometime, you wont be disappointed :D
