Hello from Rhode island im new on here how ever im not new to forums or knives. I poked around on here for a little while and have to say i like what i see. Im an everyday knife user and have a few my self im also a heavy paintball lover who owns to many markers to say and plays more than a normal person should though now that i think about it im not normal ;) Also i tend to make little errors when im new to forums like maybe have missed something not often but it happins so if you see it feel free to let me know so i dont look dumb
 
Hi Nick, welcome to the forums. Best advice I can give is check out any stickies in the forum you are posting on. Certain forums have certain rules/regs they follow. Also, take a good look around and look at the different forums before you post. Some forums are better for posting certain topics then others. Let's not make the mods grumpy by having to move all your posts to the appropriate forum. :D

thanks for the welcome yea i hear ya were's the best area to hang out if your a newbie to say highend knives brands lingo etc etc ?

It really depends on what you're looking for. General is a good place for most things "knife". Traditionals if you like old style traditional fixed and folders. There are all kinds of high end knives in the Manufacturers forum. Whine-n-Cheese is great for a little "naughty" fun. I suggest just browsing around a bit, and find what appeals to you.
