Hey, guys, just wanted to let you all know that I'm okay and back to lurking around, maybe posting a little here and there, too. Life threw me a major curveball about this time last year and I had to reprioritize everything, so the knifemaking stuff got boxed up and put away during the summer. It's still going to be a while before I get back into it, but the knifemaking itch is working its way back in, so I couldn't stay away from here for too long! I just wanted to thank those makers who emailed me and showed their concern for my well-being. Unfortunately, my knifemaker status lapsed, but I'll renew once I get back into the work. Anyway, see ya around!

Thanks, guys. Razorback, nice article in the magazine this month! Was that Tactical Knives or Blade? I read them both. Anyway, it will be a while (fall, winter???) before I am back on the grinder, and even then I am going to be working a lot slower and experimenting more with the powdered abrasives and better heat treatment I was just starting to get into before I took a break. So, no knives for a while, but I'll kick around here for some fun.
