In perusing the KF HI forum archives, I noted that October 12, 1998 was the very first post to HI's own forum. Cliff was waiting for his first HI, Julian his 18th Century....

Monday will make 5 months for me here.Not quite a half a year.I have made good friends and know the feelings of HIKV.Got to fix and revive some Khukuris that are making people happy.
Learned enough about many things to know that I know even less than I did.It seems strange that the more we learn the less we know.
I now have possesion of 8 Khukuris with more on the way.
They should be called the "potato chip khukuri",because you can't be satisfied with just one.

Happy Birthday to all you HI forum ol' timers. I hope the coming year is even better.

As a newcomer I would like to say thanks for all the wisdom, gained through the unforgiving school of experience, that you've passed on to us "newbies." May we be as gracious in passing it on to those who follow us.

 
BTW Uncle Bill, they'd finally figured out your problem was an ulcer this time last year. How are you feeling now? Better I hope.
