G'Day people. I have been lurking for a few weeks so thought it best to day hi. I am based in norther Australia, in the hot and humid no mans land part of the country. I have been collecting since 2004. I have bought and sold a few different knives up to now. Attached are what I could find around the house quickly for a bit of show and tell.
My favorite knife is my SOG Flash 1. I carry it everywhere. I live in a pretty anti weapon country (knives and guns make most piss their pants and accuse you of being a psycho for owning) so small / tool blades are the only option for EDC.
In the below pictures are my CRKT M21, Wetterlings hatchet and ADF issued shovel (among others.) Love the M21. I carried it with me while doing logistics work in Africa. It is big, strong, cuts things doesn't slip out of a sweaty palm. The axe and shovel live in the car (VW GOLF R). Because you never know when you will need to shovel shit or chop wood.
I have recently read about RMJ and Winkler knives so currently have a Tomohawk and Belt knife boner. Looking forward to getting one or two.
I work as, what you in the states would call a 911 opperater. Feel free to hit me up on questions regarding North Aus, opinions on wildlife, stupid laws and whatever else.
Cheers all.
