HI
Just Dropped in to introduce some friends of mine from Black Snake Forge here in Australia
They Havent got the Internet yet but will do shortly so i decided to start a account and Show you what they do .
Ted and Rose live on a property in the Bule Mountains of NSW in Australia (i Have shares in this property thats how i know them) Ted Hand forges his knives from Solid billets of metal he finds , He is a Traditional Knive maker that dosnt Grind but just shapes with a Hammer and forge.
He makes all the blade work and handles and boxs they come in while Rose his Wife dose all the leather work.
Heres a few Pictures of some of there work
I will get ted and rose on here once they have the internet untill then ill keep you updated on what there doing
The Smithy
The knife made for my 30th Birthday , Since i am year of the horse in Chinese years , they Used this for the Insperation
the Blade is made for a Stock saddle spring, the Guard from a Bridle Bit, the silver and horn from the handle was also taken form the Stock Saddle decoration,
The handle wood is made from a chair i broke one drunken Night up the mountains LOL
And some other work
