Hi Beckerheads,

I've been lurking around for awhile now so overdue for an intro.

My names Pete and I live in Angus Scotland, I'm also on BcUSA ( PeteB ) and BcUK.
Bought my first Becker a few months back , a BK9 , thought I might as well start big and recently got a Bk11 too , so just have the gap between the two to fill now

Cheers,
Pete.

Howdy and welcome to the Becker forum and Bladeforums. Glad you drooped in.

Started with"The King" right off. Great call and great knife. Its my second favorite BKT, and one helluva good knife. Look forward to seeing it, hopefully used hard. :D

Ah, a man with the same taste in knives as me, hehe..
Ordered my first one now, BK9, but too sad they would not ship under $100 orders, so I just had to throw in a BK11 on the same order.
Was my "next to buy knife" anyway so, happy times, LOL...

Welcome. Yes pics will be needed.

There's a new set of medium size blades being released in a couple months that might fit your criteria nicely.

Thanks for the welcome guys .
I'll no doubt get some pics up sometime that's part of the fun next to using and modding them .
Got them both stripped and a light patina on and would love to eventually get some micarta added too.
Not as hard used as I would like but get a little dirt time now and then.

Yup been keeping an eye on tweener developments

Cheers,

If I was going to buy mine in Norway I`d be out somewhere around $350 for the 9 and the 11. So yes prices in Europe is scary high..
But now the worst part is happening to me, hehe, the waiting for delivery part:(

Wow ....and here was me thinking the UK was bad, that's roughly $100 more than here .

The wait time might pass a bit slow though :p....but it's worth it

Pete.

Absolutely worth it, the feeling when the note from the postoffice arrives and you pick the package up is better than many things, LOL...
I have no idea of how many boxes have been ripped open in the car outside the postoffice, hehe...
OH yeah I do, all of them;)

Boy I wish I knew some words in Scottish to help make you feel at home.

The best I can do is;
Welcome!!! Make yourself at home. :D

Love me some BK9 action. :D

We're gonna need pix, but I'm sure you already knew that :D

I learned Scottish from Craig Ferguson. Although I can't converse in it very well unless the other individual is a celebrity or a robot.

Oh, I can speak Gaelic.

Fàilte, Ceud mìle fàilte

Jesus, ya'll should learn how to use the internet.

I compete in the Scottish Heavy Games (amateur level), you should hear the old guys that come from Scotland to represent their clans. Freakin' awesome. I got a good friend that just made it back home, I hope.

There's always some old salt, passed out at 10am in the mornin', with his sack of pride hangin' out from beneath his kilt. Gawd I love the games.
