Hi I am a female in Canada who collects all knives from bowies, Cold Steel, Spyderco, Mike Sanders, balisong etc. I love motocross and I have a pet African fox named Taco, Cheers Penny

Taco is a fantastic name for a dog, I wish I had named my Dogs that! Taco and Burrito instead of Woodrow and Wilma (Wilson is their last name)

Hi first you must find a trustworthy breeder and then see it it is legal in your state to have one, You might have to get a permit. Where I am exotic pet laws are rather lax, Taco came from a breeder in British Columbia and I live in Manitoba. They are a lot of work and tend to be more like cats then dogs. He has a sweet tooth and loves ice cream! Google fennec fox breeders and see what comes up, I used to have 2 other foxes, another fennec who passed away from old age and a silver fox I bought from a fur farm.

Seems like you can buy the Fennec here in the U.S. as well as long as you acquire a proper permit to keep one.

Some states will not allow you to keep such exotics if there is not a Federally approved rabies vaccine for it (and there is not one for most wild animals).
 
It is really nice to have you hear!!! I am a big time animal lover, as you seem to be too!!! It is always nice to have another woman knife knut here!!
 
I am completely astonished that there is another person out there with a pet named taco! Although mine isn't a fox haha
