I discovered this forum from hanging on CPF. I look forward to learned more about the better knive's out there. I like benchmade, syderco, ka-bar some coldsteel models, old gerber's sog s25's. I am here to learn, and I think I came to the right place! thanks, VDG
 
Welcome to BF :cool:. With luck, you'll not only learn, but just might make a few new friends and have fun at the same time and spread knowledge to others.

Hope you end up enjoying this place at least as much as I do.

welcome to BF.....hope you stay awhile....its a fun and informative spot.

word of advice: DONT do what i did in the beginning and buy lots of $40 knives from cold steel, CRKT, etc. not that these are bad cos. but take your time and purchase better quality knives with great steel.

i have a box of "cheap" knives that i'm sorry i bought now.

go for quality not quantity :cool:

PLEASE listen to the advice of bill G. I could have saved my $ and had solid gold knife with 100 diamonds, hand delivered by the President of the USA, by now. :D You get the picture.
 
Welcome and enjoy. Spyderco and Benchmade are good places to start your knife adventure, they make some excellent knives. Soon enough you will be seduced by the ruinously expensive ones. :)
 
Welcome to BF! Step 1. Place credit cards into plastic bag. Step 2. Fill bag with water. Step 3. Freeze bag, water, and credit cards. Step 4. Do not under any circumstances try to remove your credit cards from the ice while browsing BF.
