I've lurked and poked my head in here over the years and finally joined last night. Some of the knife collections I've seen here are straight up SICK... I've been into knives all my life but the past few years my interest has grown. I still have my Dragon Lock Butterfly knife I bought 27 years ago. I usually only had a small handful of knives and ended up breaking, loosing or having them stolen. I NEVER spent over $100 on a knife till the past few years. And yes I got me a CR sebenza recently. I need to slow my roll down a bit, I feel like a junkie. :D But I can deal with it. My other hobby was worse and I took a break from it. I collected airguns. I had almost 50 of them at one time. Then I got help and joined airgunaholics and have it under control now. Is there a knifeaholics link anyone can provide?

Greetings fellow yinzer.

Welcome to the club and enjoy your stay! Just make sure to stay away from the Exchange forums and you'll be fine...

The only cure to the knife addiction is to send them all to me.
I will dispose of them properly. =]
Lol.

Welcome to the forums. Now that you have a Sebenza, that's just the beginning. I had it bad before my Sebenza.
Since then I've had several other mid-techs and a custom or two.
Now I'm down to three midtechs lol.
All worth a bit in their own right.

I love all knives though.
As long as they fold...
and have decent steel...
and are from a good company..
and and and....

Lol.

There really is no cure for the problem but another knife.

I am blade-sick. And proud.

You'll learn a lot while you're here. And accumulate more knives than you can count on your fingers, toes, and your friends fingers and toes.

If I had a dollar for every time I said:
"Eh, this has good reviews. It should stay "fresh" with me for at least a year."

If I had a nickel for every final "grail" knife I bought, I'd be a nickel-aire. But, for now, my signature block says it all.

Dead-on welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay.

You can def learn a whole lot here and the people are great.

But I would stay away from the Exchange if u don't wanna spend some money lol.

I own many Customs & Mid Techs and love every single one.

There's really no cure for being a KnifeNut and if there is I want NO part of it lol.

I simply love knives :D

Welcome to the forums.

Just in case you don't know how many knives are enough...

1 more than you have. :D

Embrace the sickness.... you can't fight it, just give in.

:D

I'm pretty sure Spyderco owns my immortal soul now.

Thanks everyone. I need to take some better pictures and update my newer acquisitions to post in the future. Other than my Sebenza all my knives are regular production in the $20-$250 range. I really like the Spyderco's and always have. I'm continualy coming across something new and interesting. My want list is quite large. I really wanted to get one of those Hubertus autos but I see there are some problems with quality lately. Some of my favorites are my SOG Stingray Mino Paper, Spyderco Caly 3, MCUSTA Yoroi, Kershaw Red Boa, Sog Bluto, Spyderco Navaja, Piranha's and oh so many more.

Apparently they will let anyone in here. :D Welcome to the forum and sickness. It's way worse than airguns because there are so many more knives to choose from.

The addiction is horrible. I have 3 knives on the way to me, and I just got my first Strider 2 days ago. I have a Southard, a Benchmade 551-101, and a ZT 0561 coming to me.
