HI Katana and a big Trisul

Finally couple blades that i order from H.I arrived few days ago, as always Yandgu delivers!!!
For the new members here, I advise them to get them(H.I blades) while they are still available.
I am happy to share the pics here in the forum!!










 
Just gorgeous... I want that exact same sword myself. I have been eyeing it for weeks. How long after you placed the order did you receive your sword?
 
kumar or keshar or whoever the mandala symbol is, has gotten very very good at swords. great lines.

The giant trisul looks like Yuvraj, and the katana is Kumar, looks like they both had the same helper, or is that Sher's mark? I don't think so, but maybe someone else can confirm whether that is Sher, or the mark for a helper. I have a Tarwar made by Kumar and Sher, and it has a Star and 5 points around a circle, not four.







 
That sword looks like Kumar's work. He's been my favorite kami for over a decade. I'm so excited to hear that he's back to work for HI.:)
 
Is that a custom order petros? The only reason I ask is because it looks like a Talwar handle with a katana blade. I see a habuki and the Talwar does not have a habuki... it looks like a combo between a katana and a Talwar, very different and very cool.

You right about that handle. My Katana has a full tang,pommel,and hibaki. Thats a very nice Kumar Katana and his handles are always awesome. Nice Trisul as well. Love Yuvrajs' work. Score Petros:thumbup:

ANyhoo.. I am very seriously looking into one of these coming in the next shipment of blades.

Got any other pics you can post, or email? How you liking that thing? Put it to much use yet??

I am with you dmcintyrelee... I love the design of the handle on that particular katana. Its like a Everest and Talwar hybrid and is unlike anything I have seen before. I would prefer this style but it isn't shown on the webstore. Was this a custom design or was it just shipped that way and if so did you order the Talwar or the Everest? Hate to be a pest but that sword is just uber cool and uber unique.
 
i do like this one but I am looking for a full tang Katana like ones I have seen in past threads. I have seen some with straighter blades and some more curved as well. I think that is the cool part and what has me somewhat anxious right now.
There will be new Katanas hitting HI very soon from the Kumar bro squad so heads up.. bros!!
 
I will try to take more pics the weekend, it was shipped that way(with wood) and its the Everest Katana
 
You are one lucky boy petros600, you have a truly custom piece. Like I said earlier I love that handle its like a katana and kukri had a love child. Please please post more pics
