Hi folks,
I'm ashamed :o but I have 3 khukuris that were donated for the Ram fundraiser, that I'm not sure of the model name. I'm composing the email for the fundraiser right now, and it would probably be good to put a name with the pics. OK you HI historians, what we got?
Thanks!
Steve

While we're on the topic, does anyone know what type of wood the 2nd one is? It seems too red for chandan. Thanks!

Little knife, you're right on the Jange. Still not certain on the antler piece. Salyan maybe???

Tinmaddog, it is Chandan, and it is red. Blood red! Sweet stuff.

1st is Malla
2nd one is a Samsher in chandan
3rd is Jange

Fisrt one with antler handle is Malla and second and third are Jange and Samsher. Thank you, Steve

I believe the Jange is saatisaal...just nicely figured.

The Jange wood looks like sisau to me.

Dang, I've been wanting an antler Malla.

How many tickets do I have to buy to guarantee me the Malla :)

Yep! One of the Bura Samsher's. That one is really clean. Just saw one today from Joe, 18.5" and about 29 oz. I have one as well that Yangdu cut herself on and Bill posted about. The Junge is one of the older ones. They come with a full tang now for some reason.

The Malla is one of the very few antler ones. Nasty and I have the two smooth antler ones with brass fittings and no handle rings that were made, and I think there were just one or two in this config from Sher. Very nice donations indeed!

Beauties all. Thats satistal on the last one. That red chandan is my favorite. I've got a couple that are that red.

svashtar...you snake! That very samsher (the one that bit Yangdu) is the one I've been hunting for...and trying to get duplicated!
