I'm a newbie on this forum and if I'm out of line, tell me.

Is HI ever going to make their own version of the K45 khukuri?

In case anybody is wondering, I have a HI WWII khukuri. Yep, just one. I'm so ashamed. :(

Uncle Bill's been pretty sick lately. Dunno if he's doing a lot of special projects until he gets better.

I looked up a pic and it sort of looks similar to a malla or fat sirupati.

I just made the mistake of checking out that link. It needs serious revising! My early research is full of holes and unsubstationated information. Apologies

Your future research must also inevitably be full of holes and unsubstantiated info. There is no need to appologies; that is the nature of research. We are just grateful that you are helping us to move the ball forward.

N2,
You totally understand and that has inspired yet another cover!

Is that a box full of tourist models? Or is it a selection of stuff that has not been researched? Both? Is that a Cold Steel blade in there, with the black handle with the thong hole?

John,
That cover will land you a best seller; especially at a buck a copy. Put me down for one of those too.

Me too, me too!!!

I want the "oficial edition", and the "unexpurgiated underground" edition.

Where do we sign up for both?

It is the infamous "box 'o kookrys" and contains TWO lion heads and other assorted gems. Long gone but the Cold Steel which is a very good knife and is still here.

Amazon has decided to lower the price to 50 cents....

John,

Have you ever handled the Blackjack "Reinhardt" khukuri (circa 1993-1995)? If so, what do you think of it?

Tom
