Okay, so I heard Bill post a response on a thread that said his cheapest kukri was 80USD plus shipping. Might I ask for a link for this product? Would it happen to be discounted because of defects? Also if someone could tell me what purpose those two smaller knives serve, that'd be just dandy.
 
If your referring to Uncle Bill, he has passed quite some time ago. His wife who we affectionately refer to as Auntie Yangdu is running the show.
She offers deals of the day frequently on this forum, some of which are blems with minor things wrong, sometimes hardly noticeable. Sometimes they are not blems, just blades she has on hand that she offers up for members here.

One of the smaller knives is a Karda, it's like a utility knife for small task you might use a pocket knife etc for, the other is a Chakma, it is actually square on all sides and is used to touch up or clean the blade much like a steel.
 
I remember seeing kukris lower in price than $80 when I bought mine.

this was last year so I dont know if prices changed.
 
You will find that prices are variable here on the forum during the DOTD's, depending on item being sold, materials used, specifications ads whether or not it's a blem item and how bad/good the blem is.
