First photo is from Yangdu. It is beautiful & artistic photo with description that can be found on the forum http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/hi-kunai.1487016/
Yangdu asked I make post about metal to see who is interested in one of their own! Uncertain to post here or in the Cantina, I suppose this will do.
I am honored to receive the blade, and fulfill her request. This is simply a HI knife everyone needs! It is very versatile and will make a good addition to your khukuri pile.
In my first photo the Kunai is displayed in an agavé plant clay pot. This is an excellent digging tool, that also has sharp sides. It cuts through the cardboard box it came in with ease along with grass, the mushroom, and anything you can imagine. As depicted from the photo with apple and banana, it does cut, but its main purpose is to stab and dig. It will dig a hole no problem, running into rocks on the way, very strong metal and design.
It slices the cardboard much the same as the little katana I bought for my father a while back, but the style of cut is dramatically different as the blade widens in the center. Therefore, a stab and rocking motion is required to dig into the object being cut.
The sheath is convenient for concealment, and makes an excellent addition to the pocket.
Its a quick draw for certain.
who wants one?!
