For you home owners with fences.

I had just over sixteen feet of privacy fence go down last Thursday, found out after I let the dog out.:grumpy: He came back with a whistle though.:D

Anyway I've never had to do any fence post removal before and was thinking how great it was going to be digging out the broken post set into two feet of concrete. So I'm talking to a friend about it and he says come over I have something you can use, so I do.

This thing is awesome, I dug out around the post a bit wrapped a length of chain around them and started jacking, had two post out in less the 30 minutes. Worked so good I figured I'd try it on a stump that needed removing and I'll be if it didn't help a lot with that too, and a axe of course.

Any way I'm so impressed with this thing I'm getting one and wanted to share how great they work.

A great tool to have around indeed.
Just like a pair of fence pliers this is usually underrated.

Wonderful tool, but as my Uncle Buz said, "Don't put your head over the handle or you'll eat teeth."

It's a wonderful device that has killed more farmers than anything else out there. Use it wisely (and carefully).

Yikes, I can see it though, the chain slipped off when I was working the stump over and I got a little toss.

Thanks for the heads up guys.

Those are good jacks. I've pulled 24ft tall posts, set in 2ft diameter 3 foot deep concrete pilings with one(tearing down a pole barn). I had to put an 8ft cheater bar on the handle. Bent one of the lift pins in the jack slightly but it still works
