Hi Lite- As I understand it, you brush, swab or otherwise, apply a layer getting it into the low impressions of your stamping, then wipe it off with a towel. Is this correct?
I have a few Eco Flow Hi Lite colors, two browns and one called "raison". Will these go well with black? I already dyed my current project, but I'm thinking ahead.
Resists- With products like Tandy Super Sheen, you are supposed to apply it on areas that you don't want dyed right? So if you want two colors next to each other, this can be used over the first color, then just brush over the whole thing with the second and you'll have it, right?
Brush Dyeing- On my current project I have two grooves running parallel. I wanted them both dyed black, with color in the center between the lines. My problem is that, even with a fine tip brush, I couldn't seem to stay inside the grooves. Black dye would bleed beyond the groove. My stitch groover cuts a very fine line. I'm guessing finer than most. Any tips on how to do this without getting dye outside the groove channel? I have fairly steady hands, but still have problems. Is there a method of dyeing outside the groove, then putting a resist on that, then flooding the grooves? If there's anything to this aside from just being as careful as possible, I need to know.
Thanks guys, as always.
