Glad you made it home from blade in one piece, screaming child and all!!! And not once did you think about leaving the little Angel along side the road somewhere!?!... right?... huh...! I knew you didn't. I didn't either on my first big trip.;)

Anyway, I recently found out about the EBL rig you guys make for the Safariland 6004, but the pics you posted a few months ago are no longer linked. Can you post them again?

Duane has answered most of my other questions.

Thats a really great design. If I end up on our SERT team, I will be using the SLS 6004 as well, and will see if I could get this for my HT. Looks like a great knife placement idea. Thanks, Reagan

That's exactly what I was looking for! Now I have to buy an EBLT. I think it will make a great first Strider, with many more in a very long list.

I was kind of hoping that it would tuck under the holster like the SOE sheaths that you guys did. It seems a little more compact. But, I couldn't picture how with that SLS.

Is it bolted to the 6004 thigh pad or is it just clipped over the upper leg strap? The reason I ask is I'm wondering if it would be possible to swap out different sheaths for different knives.

This system is actually WAY more compact than the SOE ones we made.

The sheath is bolted to the leg yolk. Note* any Strider Kydex will attach to the holster. We just make this one work at a better angle.

Mick, How did you go about modifying the 6004 to use the fastex buckle hanger? Thought I would ask before I start cutting!

I'd like one for the BT that I have on order.

I have a SL 6004 for my SOCOM, but do not know if there is room for the BT sheath, not knowing the dimensions. Thanks in advance Mick.

It wont work with the BT.
The knife has to be one of the mid-fame knives, like the EB’s or an HT.

To modify the hanger, I just changed the length to where I wanted it, used the existing Velcro strap to secure it, and cut off the tail. Of course you will need the other half of the hanger.

Thanx Mick. A MK23 & a BT are probably overkill to have strapped to the same leg! :D Kinda like walking around with a cruise missile.
 
Mick,Is there anywhere I could purchase the female portion of the fastex buckle with the duty belt loop?
