I am in a discussion right now with the Ka-Bar guys about that and we probably won't really know until after SHOT......Just as soon as I get a handle on that you will see it here first......Thanks for your thanks and your interest.....

is it true the Brute,patrol machete ,machax, and a few other will not be re-issued thru Ka-bar.
Hard to believe the Brute was not a popular model...One of my All-Time favorite Beckers....and gets used alot.

I had a Brute and a BK9 Combat Bowie.
Foolishly, I let my brother talk me out of my Brute, but thankfully, he
couldn't talk me out of the BK9 :)

I fear tis true that some of the BECKERS will not make it back into production...Honest guys the BRUTE and MAGNUM CAMP did NOT sell...I had a talk with Paul today about the CREWMAN and because we have no real idea of how many Camillus actually sold we are in something of a quandry.....The PATROL MACHETE will have to wait for a grinder with a long enough throw...so not this year or next... I am working on a redesign of the MACHAX and hope that will come sometime next year...There ARE new models in the works and I hope to share some news after SHOT Show in mid january.....

We understand that, but still want to lust over them! :D

I have one Magnum Camp left, and am still kicking myself that I didn't get a Brute when I should have. Oh well... Keep up the good work Ethan, we really do appreciate it!!!!
 
Hey guys. Thought this could pop up again now with the recent release of Uncle E's knife that started it all, the BK4. This was the oldest thread I could find in the forums...it was a long battle through the tombs and crypts of forgotten threads...but alas I came across this. Serendipity.

Also wanted to use it as a reason to say Thank you to Uncle E for creating the knives he has. We as a club and community would not exist without you and your wonderful creations.

Looks like the thread has already been resurrected (spell check?)! I must say I would also like to thank Ethan Becker for some of my favorite knives! I can put my BK's head to head with anything and I feel confident they will always win!
