Hey guys, I thought some of the "Fat Fanatics" would enjoy this one, its a Munk Cleaver by HI. Nearly 1/2" thick at the spine and over 2" wide it is a beast! :eek: Pictured here beside a HOG Fusion Steel Heart shows the true size of this monster. I made a piggyback scabbard with it and a JKM and it truly qualifies for the heaviest combo made yet. :D

and yes, the handle on the Cleaver is taped up to protect that beautiful horn from my fumble fingers :o

Heres the "Rig from He!!" I'll wiegh it in the next couple of days, any guesses? sniff sniff, do I smell a contest? ;)

So many dead cows, so much slaughter, so many leather scraps! It was cow armageddon I tell ya!!

I hope the new owner has sometihing to counterbalance this rig, like a Buick:rolleyes:
 
That is really cool! I would love a rig like that, although with say a 15" BGRS and a JKM. OR, better yet, an antler 15" pen and an antler JKM would look awesome and be a great camping rig. Total weight of both knives in that config would be only 26 oz.

I have an earlier AK Bowie, which was the predecessor of the Munk Chunk, and I think it runs about 24 oz., and was actually light for the model. I'm guessing that cleaver runs aan easy 30?

Very nice quality work. Unless you work for free:D , I'll wait until I have work myself to give you a shout and maybe you can do something similar for me? I have just the knives in mind.
