i think you mean dropped the hammer not the ball. dropping the ball means you failed at a task.

So did you get the 2 top ones? I am used to hearing 'dropped the ball' as in 'I goofed up' so it kind of sounds like you missed out on it? Or maybe you really are addicted and in counseling in which case 'I goofed up' might be correct?

Anyways, there are some pretty nice knives there. Any chance you want to loan me some money? I don't imagine any of those are very cheap.

Edit: someone beat me to it

I think you problem is primarily a financial one and I can help you solve it. In the future whenever you see a knife you like, right down the details ideally with a picture, put it in an envelope with the money required to purchase it and discreetly mail it to me.

Yea...I ordered both the Beggs and the Lambert today. The Yuna should be getting made anytime now and the Kendricks are more or less waiting to be sent to me.

No, neither one is cheap (nor is the Yuna or the large Kendricks)

Those are some seriously sweet looking blades, especially the damascus ones!

If it makes you feel any better, in the past week I bought a Spyderco Sage, Sage 2, pink native for my lady, and a WH EDC blade. Now I'm looking to dump the WH and buy either a more expensive WH, or a Sebenza <----- knife that I recently said was an overpriced luxury item. While this is true, I forgot to calculate the addiction factor.

Once some of these knives touch your hands, or get in your brain, resisting buying them is futile, no matter how unnecessary they are...

I started with CRKT, then some Spydies and Kershaws. Moved onto Lone Wolf, lower end WH's, ESEE. Now I'm getting WH's, and these custom folders. I am considering a Seb and a few others.

I used to consider anything over 150 or 200$ incredibly expensive. The second to last knife I bought was a WH Pitaki for $500 and the last knife i bought was a WH special edition for $1000.

It doesn't get any easier, just instead of buying 2 or 3 blades at a time @100$ I am planning out the next year around wait times for custom orders...

It's not that I have more money, I just have no expenses. No credit card, no house mortgage, no car payments. Pretty much everything I earn is cash I can spend on my hobby/obsession.

That statement says it all. I was never in that position. Be thankful! Have fun, that is what life is all about. Hard to be serious when you are waiting on a custom made knife.

I am on the road to recover , and then you with this post .
I have to order something now .

I usually put the ones I have away. I'm always looking on here just for the knife candy and forget about the ones I have. Then when I see something I like I get the shakes. I think I may have a problem :D Nice collection ya got there!
