when I acquired my most recent K with sarki-with-no-name-made sheath about 6 weeks ago, a fine midweight 18" AK by Durba, I was pleased to find a stout leather loop on top. I hadn't seen any with this before. It's a small detail, but definitely a useful design refinement. I've found it handy for hanging up the K on a tree stump or the like while camping. And it's a no-sweat way to hang it from a nail or coat rack at home. Looking at the pix of some of Uncle Bill's recent UBDODTs and blems, it looks like the leather loop may now be pretty much standard. Good!
