How many of these will be available???

I mean, is this a one-off? Or can we hope for more in the future?

(Pleaseohpleaseohplease!)

Wlidmike- by my (very) rough calculations ~9.5"

I am sorry for the double post:o

I LIKE IT! Hopefully more to come with a western style sheath. Good work Yangdu, AS USUAL.

Is that blade left in a 'forged finish' or is it coated in something?

Seems to be the new' villager' finish which has became common over the last few months; it does not compare to earlier 'villager' finishes to my eye?

Whatever the name is certainly looks very appealing!

Wonder what, if any, protection if gives to the blade?

I really like the overall design. It's basic and simple and looks plenty stout, yet it's only .25" thick? NICE. That's about perfect.

THREAD DRIFT ALERT

I really like the overall design. It's basic and simple and looks plenty stout, yet it's only .25" thick? NICE. That's about perfect.

Funny thing.

Most everywhere, Busse Combat knives are derided as "sharpened prybars" because many, if not most of their medium sized blades range from .25" - .320" thick. Even they think they are monstrous (remember my "big benders" thread?). Check out the "Killa Zilla" thread on the Busse forum. They're having a 'gasm about the Busse kukri that's 18.5" OAL and .27 thick. Don't think I'm talking smack, because I really like Busse knives.

. . .But to contrast. . .

Over here, we'd recommend something that size (Chitlangi -- might still be .375" thick) when someone asks for a light kukri. If something is .25" thick it's, well, the above quote:"yet it's only .25" thick? NICE." LOL, my R-10 is nearly .270" thick just in front of the scales.

And it's been said "Only here is 10" of blade considered a small knife."
:D

Different perspectives. . .:D
