Hi there I am new to bladeforums but should have joined a long time ago!

I am Texas. I hope to learn a lot here and hopefully contribute.

As most newbies to forum sites go I do have a question. I recently made a purchase from bladehq an online retailer that I have bought from many times with great success, but due to the current public health concern they have shut down their telephone support. I have heard nothing regarding my order. I have emailed and have received no response.

Does anyone know if they are still shipping out orders during this time?

I am exciting about finally joining a knife collecting/user community!

Did you get an order confirmation, followed by a shipping confirmation? Typically they'll send you an email saying your order was placed, then another when it ships. I see this post was a few days ago, any luck?

I'm not sure what is going on with BHQ, haven't received an email from them recently either, while knife center, go, and others flood my inbox.
 
I had an order with them last week. They have gone with a new email service and it is not working for me (them). I never received and order confirmation or a shipping notice, but the order did arrive on time. I spoke with them several times to request those documents, and they were helpful, but their system repeatedly failed to send the emails.

Thank ya'll yeah I guess they are working with a limited staff. I tried calling first of course and they an auto attendant message that says that they are not fielding calls. So if they have essentially shut down their call center then they are either short staffed or have everyone working in shipping due to demand.

I did receive my order and I received a response to my emails today.
 
Glad you got a response. Okay so I can't resist.... What did you order?? I just ordered the ZT0357. Got it for less than $120! Now I'm wondering how long it will take lol I love the tread about wait times. Could not be more on point.
 
Another 3S, I have a few but just like it, felt like I needed a new one for some reason.

Okay i think that may have been what happened. Because I've never experienced poor service from them before.
