Hello everyone. I'm new to this whole knife thing. How does my collection look so far?

Benchmade Griptilian 551
CRKT M16-14ZSF
CRKT Point Guard
SOG Trident
Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Karambit Folder
Random buck 550 series
A couple of leathermans

In the mail:
CRKT M21 Black Aluminum Handle
CRKT M16 EDC Black Zytel Handle

I've also got a list of knives that I want to buy as I go along.

The knives I'm interested in are folders priced between $20 and $80.

I've looked around a bit and this place seems pretty interesting. I love stuff like guns and knives, but I can't really afford guns, and knives are a pretty good collection to have. I can't wait to have a decent collection to pass on to the kids later down the road. (Along with my awesome belt buckle collection.)

deffinetly a nice start.. be forewarned that hanging out here may cause you to spend a good bit more than 80 on any given knife...

One of the good things about a budget like mine. Plus I think the girl friend would flip out knowing I bought some of the rather... ahem "more expensive knives" because she thinks i'm saving for a ring (which is already purchased. I'm also pretty cheap, which is nice. But thanks.

What do you guys think of my wish list?

Welcome to the forums. 80 bucks may be a lot, but you sure will risk double that just hanging around. First thing that will happen is that you will catch a virus that all of us Knife Nuts have and soon will be doubling that budget, being cheap or not. The virus is an addition, more costly than drugs.

James

Ps: Warning, Ring First, then Knives (notice plural)

Follow James' advice.

Stop now while you still can ;)

Welcome to BF. That's a nice collection to get you started. You should try out as many manufacturers as possible to see what you like and don't like. I see you like CRKT, but you should definitely check out Spyderco and Kershaw too.

You lucky feller! ;) Niiiice collection!
Thanks.

I'm looking at the Endura as my next piece. I had a spyderco native I very much liked that got swiped at ft. knox. So far though my BM griptiallian and my SOG trident are my 2 favorite knives that I've ever handled.

Thanks for the advice. Yes I am aware... Ring first. Almost fully paid off and I am paying double what I originally planned.
