Hi - question about ATS34

Hi I've recently bought a knife made of ats34 and was thinking if using it as my main survival knife, was just wondering on your thoughts about the steal?

If it is stone washed or polished, it will have very good stain resistance. If it is bead blasted, rust will be an issue. ATS-34 has good wear resistance and edge holding.
