This is not a complaint. I have had a pre-order on the Smallfly 2 since September of last year, I saw one come up for sale here recently, did it come out for a while? I almost bought it(wish I had now), are there more coming in the future?

Yeah.. I still have a preorder, from September, and no smallfly..
Kind of a bummer.

I noticed alot of smaller dealers already got them (and some sold out). I have a preorder from KC and I'm in the same boat lol. After reading some preliminary reviews on it, I'm really on the fence about canceling it since it's got some pretty glaring issues. Let me know when you get it and post a quick review for us please :P

Looks like the bigger dealers are still waiting for their orders to fill. At this point, I'm actually more excited about the 20CV lucha!

I got mine yesterday, quite happy with it. Flips nice for its size, no play, my scales fit better than the reviewed one(though not perfect on some areas). The machinng marks could have been polished out, but again doesn't bother me, I don't usually nit pick my knives to that extent, if it jumps out at me then.... I am on Jeerzy Devil and see most USA Balis going for much much more. Sure they are pretty and have some nice technology/premium materials but not what I want to spend. Who pays $300, $210 was the pre order, I think it is well worth that price, opinions vary though. Oh and I can guarantee you these will not go down in value, most likely just the opposite. I do like Spyderco, but have lots of other brands too so I am not a "blind" supporter. If you don't cancel your order post your opinion too.

Hey...how the heck am I gonna cancel my order after Sal came to bat for his knife? That would be a little cold.

I really appreciate someone like Sal. When all the dust settles and the sprint runs are through, I'll still treasure that little DVD that came with my sharpmaker years ago.

Enough ass kissing...where the heck is my smallfly pre order knifecenter??????

FWIW, I don't place pre-orders for anything anymore because once the knife that I want is released, it is widely available (at least initially) and I can just buy it in real time from where ever I see it even before my pre-order is filled.

That said, there's no reason/need to cancel your pre-order because your order could be filled before you can find one independently or you may want another to flip/trade later to someone else who wants but can't find one.
