HI Sales Website Knife

Can anyone tell me what model knife is on the front page of the HI sales website? It has what looks like a light colored horn handle and no engraving or inlay.

That's the one. I really like this one but it doesn't look exactly like any of the other models, but then it's hard for me to tell the subtle differences. Is this an upgraded standard model?

Looks like a Kothimoda or Dhankuta.

whats the difference besides a kothimoda and a dhankuta besides the sheath anyways?

That's a Bura crafted silver mounted Royal Dhankuta. Handle is spotted deer horn. 12 inches.

At HI the kothimoda is bone handled and about 17 inches long.

I have one Dhankuta is stock and it has the kothimoda scabbard -- in cse anybody is interested. Otherwise I'm out of both models.

When available, how much will one of these run without the Kothimoda sheath? Which of the regular models has a blade shape, design, or size closest to this one?

I think he's lookin' fer a plain one with the same blade shape.

Some of the Sirupatis and Gelbu Specials have similar shapes.

15" /18" Sirupati look pretty close.
But no bone handle.

I'm not sure but the I think that the khukuri on uncle' avatar is a salyan khukuri.
