Smatchet!
Snatch it! :)
Please don't make me buy this knife! :D

(Three purchases in two days is XSive!)

Now that i've seen it, i can stop worrying that i'd made a poor decision to ask to have some of these made.
I think Bhakkta kami understands the smatchet very well. This looks very, very nice to me and true to the original design with a little nepali flair added.......IMHO it's another home run.

Got my spear vala in the mail today.....

All i can say is.....OMG.....WOW!
As usual, a heckuva lotta blade for the money.
Even at 2" shorter that O.S.S specs, this thing is a massive knife that i'm sure any commando would be proud to wear on his belt. Kudo's to bhakta kami for a job well done!

Guess I missed the 1st post last week. Congrats on the new Smachet, it looks sweet!! Are you going to be sharpening one edge razer sharp and the other less so for multiple uses or? What have you cut/chopped with it for far? Would love to see it carve the turkey tomorrow. :)

Both edges are sharp enough and i'm keeping em' that way.
I havent cut anthing with it yet..... my dear wife told me to stay the heck away from her pumkin display in the front yard.
I may have to find one somewhere and do another vid.
I'm going to my sis's tomorrow for turkey and i highly doubt they'll let me near it with this thing.
Maybe i can talk the wife into letting me carve ours when she gets around to cooking it.
