Took some time to browse some other of the BF Forums.

Some of their threads degenerate into grudge contests and cat fights that one guy won't shut up over and annoy others until the thread becomes highjacked into a six or seven page brawl.

That rarely happens here on HI and reflects the forumite's tolerance and sense. Moderators can abate or temper some arguments, but it's nicer still when the folks here keep their cool.

Uncle Bill sets the example for the HI forum to be sure, but it's the good people on here who show decency and common courtesy to each other that really keep it that way. I want you to know that is appreciated and express my thanks and respect to the ordinary everyday posters for it staying a friendly place and one I can enjoy coming to again and again.
 
Where do you get off saying that? That really frosts my gourd. Some people have to make a comment on everything, reminds me of a wishy washy second rate school teacher. If you were really doing your jobs here the threads wouldn't deteriorate in the first place. What's the matter with you? We don't need all this blather. Get some help. Get some real friends. Get this forum running right, spit and shine. Too much leeway. Anyone can say whatever fool thing pops into his head- ridiculous. Talking about politics and personal feelings, Baaa, Humbug, really, how embarressing.

Next you'll want to offer heartfelt spiritual advise. This place is making me sick. Collection of damn loons, gibbering at one another and frothing over some inantimate objects. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Are those folks friends of yours? I enjoy this forum almost every night. I'm not too sure just what is happening right now. I'm sort of hopeing they are kidding a little bit. :)

Pappy: They got caught being nice when Federico and Brendan ( and lots of others, including you and me ) were hurting or bared hearts and feelings. Now they're blushing and embarassed and trying to change the subject like little kids caught in the act. Ignore them and they'll go back to playing like they're all as manly as "Duke" John Wayne.
 
Hey, I'm as manly as my television remote allows. Rusty, do you think anyone took the second post here, my first to you, seriously? I wasn't sure. Bill the Cat caught on. I mean, "bah, humbug" wasn't a big fat giveaway?

As usual your words are right on and the thread heading was appreciated. I don't think I'm cowering from emotion, though, just thought I was having fun!

I'm not good at john wayne- any munk escapism is likely to be intellectual folderal.

I think you know by now how I feel about your posts regarding the Heart.

John Wayne, "The Duke" was a Puke and a Wuss!!!! He hated the ndns and no one ever saw his teeth when he smiled. There's an ndn song about that that was sung in the movie "Smoke Signals."
It went something like this.

"John Wayne's teeth, are they fake or are they real. Are they wood or are they steel? Hey yuh, hey yuh, hey yuh, hey. John Wayne's teeth, are they silver or are they gold, are they warm or are they cold? Hey yuh, hey yuh, hey yuh, hey."

If John Wayne had been an old Calvary soldier he would have been in Custer's Last Stand and it woulda served him right!!!!

My father always contended Wayne wasn't an actor at all. All he played was Wayne.
