Hey there peole. Im new to his forum (and new to bladesmithing) and am trying to gather information to begin my journey into bladesmithing.

Firstly, ive seen some posts from fellow Irishmen, and was wondering if there are still some around.

Secondly, anyone know where i may find schematics or other details for building a small forge. I would like to build something i can place in the shed when its not in use, but also is good enough to create some good blades (and allow me to weld pieces of metal together to create damascus) [and would also like to fuel it on biodiesel or waste veg oil, this is preferable but not essential as i can always adapt :)].

Any info would be great.
