Hi, we are new and would like to introduce ourselves.

Welcome to Bladeforums!

I went to the website but found it hard to read. Tiny white letters on a black background are almost illegible for me, even with a magnifying glass. The pictures need to be enlarged and brightened as well.

What I can see of your designs is impressive, though.

Welcome,

Beautiful, imaginative work; a fusion of cold steel and warm nature.

Looking forward to seeing where your training and your feeling for the knife takes you.

John

nice to always have the opportunity of seeing innovation and it stands out on your site but as mentioned text size and use of space on the page needs adjustment. Enjoyed the knives though.

Hi everyone, and thank you all for looking.

It´s great to be on the forums and we are trying to learn as much as possible from you. We appreciate your feedback a lot and we will try to improve the photos, text and website as soon as we can. Thank you all for taking your time.

Best regards,
Adisa & Joel

Welcome Adisa and Joel! The knives you've made show creativity and skill! I'll be looking forward to your posts!

Adisa and Joel,

When I view your website on a 21 inch monitor, I find it artistically appealing, and have no problem reading the text, or seeing the photos.

What we makers have to realize, however, is that many viewers may be accessing our sites with pads or even cell phones. Photos and text should be large, bright, and viewable on tiny screens.

I'm all in favor of international treaties requiring all knives to be viewed on high resolution, giant screens, but until the world catches up, artistic presentation on our websites has to come second to clarity.

Good luck, and show us more of your beautiful work,

John

Hi John,

You are right. I think its possible to find a good balance where we don´t have to compromize the looks to get better visibility. And as you point out about the cell phones, we noted that the site didn´t want to cooperate properly with phones, but we will get there.

Thanks again for the kind words people.
/Joel
