In case anybody has not picked up on this in other threads here's the story. Yangdu and I are scheduled to go to Girard, KS for Memorial Day weekend with luck and the blessing of the Great Mystery. We fly out of Reno early AM on the 23rd and return late night on the 29th -- have to fly on Tu & Wed to get the good fares. I'll answer email and make some posts on the forum but will be unable to answer phone or ship khukuris.

This journey gives me the opportunity to visit my 89 year old Dad and the rest of my family back in KS and MO. It is very important to me to see Dad. And, I'll go to the cemetery and pay my respects and send up smoke for loved ones already departed. Plus, I'll attent my high school class 50th reunion. My first and probably my last. Plus, I'll try to get down to OK to visit bros Yvsa and Terry. Sort of a sentimental journey but I guess that is what Memorial Day is all about.

So, be patient if you have a severe case of HIKV. I WILL get the khukuris in the air as soon as I am back on the ground here in Reno.

Any smoke sent up for safe and sound journey will be much appreciated.

Have a great trip!!! Vacations and trips to see loved ones are a great way to recharge ones "mental batteries". Myself, I am in serious need of a recharge, but it's not in the cards in the foreseeable future. I envy you. Stay safe!!!!
