I got my wife the white and green himalayan hat. She really likes it.

My brother got his woman (nice vietnamese girl who can really cook) a H.I. "farm knife". She wanted one to use for butchering.

The "farm knife" model didn't much speak to me... until I actually held it in person. NICE.:thumbup:

I've got a non-HI knife very similar in design to the HI farm knife. I found it in a thrift store next to a military base. It's handforged with a horn handle. I wouldn't be surprised if it were of SE Asian orgin. It is a useful design. Last time I used it was a couple of days ago when I got some turkey legs out of the freezer for soup. They were frozen together and the block wouldn't fit in the soup pot. After a few hacks they were 4 frozen half legs and fit nicely.
