Hi guys, I'm a new member and having joined a few days ago and spending some time reading I must say this forum is very friendly and informative.

At the moment I am quite the novice. I have only owned a few small and cheap folding knives that I used for skinning rabbits and foxes etc.

After reading these forums for a few days I have taken the plunge and ordered a BM 610. I always found the small knives uncomfortable to use and I am looking forward to getting my hands on a decent sized, good quality folder.

a cheaper one :EKA ELITE 8 (EKA-KNIEN.SE) Made of au8 ,cheap & practical .
Bigger one : sog Vulan vl01 made of vg-10 ,made in japan .

You definately don't have to worry about small no more! From now on, with the Rukus, it is going to be BIG. But a good big.:thumbup:
 
Welcome Trunch! Yes, you'll find the Rukus (even the mini) is anything but small! You'll get your wish too, about getting a good quality folder ((( :D )))

Well, one out of two isn't so bad.

Okay, this place can be friendly; at times. Folks tend to hold their views quite strongly on BF. If "friendly" is very important to you, try the Spyderco forums on that company's Home website.

I am looking forward to getting some more knives in the future.
Even just the few days I have been reading on these forums has sparked my interest :)
