Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this one? Is it junk or will it serve it's purpose as a chopper? I found it for realitively cheap. I like the rugged look of it. It's basically the the new Rambo knife without all the rambo stuff on it.

Thanks,

-Dave

SilentJohn, I've wondering about this lately, too. Especially the United version, which is considerably less expensive than the Master version. I also like the fact that the United version doesn't say RAMBO all over it. I just like the design itself, and wonder if the quality is good enough to actually make it a useful knife (ya' never know with United, as nearly all of their knives are wall hanger and mall ninja garbage)!

I am gonna get the united version to but I would like some testimonials I worry if the temper is good or crappy

I got one about a year ago(United Cutlery version) 'cause it was made of 1090 steel wich is pretty decent for it purpose and much superior to the other Rambo knives. I chopped with it and it's a monster chopper. It never lost it's edge and stayed very sharp, of course I sharpened it myself 'cause the factory edge was awfull. The bad thing of this blade is it's weight, you won't swing this thing for long before you tear a shoulder or break a wrist but it's fun to fool around for a couple of minutes. Cheers!!!
