Hickory Hill Knife Rolls?

I've run across a few of the Hickory Hill knife rolls lately and they seem to be a well made product compared to most knife rolls I've seen, though a little more expensive. They also appear to be a favorite of the traditional crowd. Anybody have an opinion on them???

Thanks,
Nick

The only knife roll I have is made by Boker, and for the price it cost, it's really shoddy.

I ordered one from the States - for a friend - well made but very dear, stil it struggled to hold big Folders over 4 inches long - as most rolls do.

Thanks for the info fellas! I have one on order and it should arrive next week. I plan on putting the bulk of my barlow collection in it, I'll post some pics after it gets here. Have a good weekend everyone!!!

It will handle the Barlows fine Nick - the Grandaddy's shouldnt be a problem either because they are narrow - just longer - I can quite remember - Rick the owner of the Hickory I got in for had a LOT of different knives - some slightly wider than your average Barlow-so it was with them that there was trouble getting them to fit into the pre-sewn Elastic holders, with Barlows I cannot see a problem whatsoever - the Hickory I bought in was a very nice Tan coloured roll.
Again from memory - we were comparing the rolls with some cheaper locally bought knife rolls - they were black and had a simple plastic click-in latch-as you do on everything - they were easier than the Hickory?...I apologize as I cannot remember just how the Hickory latched?
But in saying all that - the Hickory was lined nicely, it looked nice, and did the job well.
