Just wanted to show off my newest aquisition.

It's a Vernon Hicks custom slipjoint from the late 70's. He was a part time maker who I believe is now deceased.

Knife has a 440c blade with integral NS frame and bolsters (If not they're the best blended bolsters I've ever seen). Stag scales with NS pins.

Grinds are perfect, great W&T and very tight construction in the spine with no side play on the blade.

If this is representative of other knives by this maker I will certainly be on the lookout for them in the future.

Levine's Guide says Mr. Hicks passed away in 1993.

That is a beautiful knife.
