Hi Guys,
Most of you have seen my bookcases, but I've come up with a few new additions - looking for some feedback and new ideas - What is something else you would like to see me make?

Very cool. Do you ever work with staircases? I'm doing some new stairs and was considering some drop-down risers, lift-up treads, and perhaps some drawers.

My problem, I'm not much of a carpenter. :(

Hi Bob - yes, I have done this before - it is a great use of otherwise wasted space!

Wait, you're the genius responsible for these? I've seen your bookshelf YouTube video with short articles posted on several sites. That's truly awesome work!

Wow - thank you. You just made my day :-)

My pleasure, I meant what I said. I can't recall what site I saw the video on but I think one might have been Gizmodo and also on a prepper site or something. I believe I also came across the link on at least one other survival-type forum.
I know if I could I'd be ordering from you but cash is too tight right now. It'd probably cost a small fortune to ship to Canada too! I hope this concept is very lucrative for you.
Cheers!

Thanks again!
Actually I have 2 orders shipping to Toronto this month - the freight isn't bad, but your taxes and duties are a bit outrageous :-(

I've been watching your videos for a long time. Your work is genius. Perhaps some day I'll be in a position to have you furnish part of my house. Until then, I hope you do very well for yourself, as you certainly deserve it with your incredible ingenuity.

Very cool!

I've heard that some thieves will knock over dressers and rip out shelves to see if there are any cleverly concealed items in them. Shifting weight inside furniture or telltale rattles would be a quick give away. To counter this you could use foam inserts that hold things snuggly in place like with a pelican case. The number of items could also be a problem if it adds too much weight.

One interesting piece of furniture I didn't see on your website is bed frame that will accept standard size mattresses. Everyone needs to sleep after all and it keeps your guns close by when you are most vulnerable. Bar counter-tops might also work. :D

A cheap way to keep things from sliding is to line the drawer with a grippy rubber shelf liner. I had stapled Con-Tact Ultra Grip Drawer/Shelf Liner to line a wood cargo shelf in my SUV. It kept stuff from shifting around in anything short of a panic stop. So, if you use a similar product, you can probably tilt the funtiture to a 40 degree angle without anything shifting inside.

Love all your work, just WoW!!! I think I'm going to start saving for that entertainment system setup.

I have done custom foam inserts, and provide a mounting bracket for all of the case pieces to be secured to the wall...

I have always thought hidden compartments in furniture and car were neat methods of hiding valuables, and I really like your designs.

In googling hidden compartments after reading this thread, I found out that Ohio has a law where you can be arrested just for having a hidden compartment in your car if the cops believe you "intend" to traffic drugs in it, even if no drugs or drug residue is seen or you have no intention of trafficking drugs. And no exception because you are from another state where it is legal.

This stuff is amazing!! Love that RFID nightstand! Probably costs more than our car though LMAO
