Okay the picture taking God's were not with me for this one. No matter what I did it just wasn't gonna work out.

Steel: ATS-34 Hand Rubbed (1200 grit finish)
Blade Length: 4 5/8" from end of guard
Overall: 9 3/8"
Guard: 416SS
Handle: Stabilized Juniper Burl
Pin: 5/32" Mosaic pin

This knife is very light, used 1/8" stock. There are also thumb serrations on the spine just in front of the guard.

Thanks for looking. No name for this one yet so if you think of something please let me know.

That handle is beautiful. Looks very comfortable too. And very functional if someone would be willing to tarnish such a beauty.

That looks really good Sean.

Sorry I didn't return your PM. Any time you want to drop by and talk knives and look over my collection, you are welcome.

Very nice piece Sean. That's some nice looking wood you have selected for the handle (as usual) and a clean overall design.

Thanks for the comments.

I bought four pieces of Juniper Burl and they are all fairly different, although each is a great piece in it's own right.

I am pleased with the flow of this design. It's made of 1/8" stock so it is extremely light, is also very well balanced on the guard.

Keith - I'm going to be through your home town in February, if we have enough time I'd love to hook up with ya. Will give you a shout when it's closer to the date.

Thanks again.

Sean

That looks amazing. It's the kind of knife that would see you through anything on an uninhabited island and still look beautiful after 20 years.
