This one was fun to do, the epitome of "inside every bowie is a skinner." This one started as a pocket bowie that I had ground out years ago with a tapered tang...well...I screwed it up when attempting to update the style, so I ground off the old handle and turned it into a hidden tang. The blade is 2.9-inch flat ground .140 thick CPM S110V with a handle of green linen micarta, orange and green G10 liners, a stainless steel guard, Corby and lanyard tube surrounded by a Westinghouse micarta tube. Very thin behind the edge and razor sharp. 7 inches OAL.
Hand sewn leather sheath with orange thread, I made the welt thick to better fit the guard, and it fits like a glove!
