I am looking for the hidden tang tutorial. I am tired of toying around with mustard finishes, tobasco finishes, and whatnot on my Cold Steel SRK that I have 'cleaned up'. In all reality it looks like crap, but I think it is kind of a cool type of 'crap'.

Anyways, I just bought a block of neat lookin oak from Home Depot, 1/2" x 2" x 2' for just under $2. If my end product is good this stuff will look nice, and if not I can try again and not cry about it.

Also, I plan on doing a complete hidden tang with a Aluminum that I found through what was the Lanyard hole. I plan on using JB Weld, or perhaps Devcon 2 ton Epoxy. Considering that I do not have a guard planned and that I am using 2 halfs of wood to make the handle, what would yall use?

I have thought about grinding down the tang and going for the "rat tail", but I have done that before and this is a new challenge.

Opinions wanted.
