Hideaway (HAK) not answering email?

I've sent 4 emails to Hideaway over the last week, and haven't received a reply as of yet. Is this something to be concerned about or just a symptom of their popularity? I will understand if they're just busy but if they usually answer in a day I want to make sure I'm not sending it to the wrong address.

No worries, she is a very busy person. A lot of irons on the fire. Add to that, the popularity of the HAK's and she sometimes get's behind. There are plenty of people on the different forums that know her fairly well. If there were a problem of any type, it would be made known.

She was also away for several weeks on business and had thousands of E-mails to catch up on. She probably isn't through the backlog. Don't worry, she'll eventually get to it.

I wouldn't worry - I've got three HAKs and although the wait was long - it was well worth it. I gave one to my wife and she just loves it!

I have the same problem -- was contacted early in the week that my knife was being prepared for shipment and they emailed me to check on something -- then no further responses. The dots haven't moved on the website and haven't heard anything. :(

Thanks for the answers folks. I'm happy to give her the benefit of the doubt as long as she keeps making these great knives and keeping her customers happy (which is obvious!)

Thanks again

Anyone else get any emails back? I'm past 2 weeks now with no response. I really understand if she's busy, I would just like to make sure my order didn't call through the cracks.

my dots moved and the knife was shipped shortly after my earlier post. They must just be extremely busy. very pleased with my knife.

I think they are really busy, there have been several articles out lately on Hideaways and I think the demand has caught FrontSight by suprise. She probably needs to hire some more people to help her. My experience with the company was very positive. I love my Hideaway and carry it around my neck 24/7. Be patient. You will be happy when your knife arrives. Hopefully they'll get up to speed before too long.

Cool,
That's all I really needed to hear. It's too bad we can't seem to get in touch. I write e-commerce software and offered to help streamline their system in trade. I've written software for companies like FedEX and Ramada so I've got the resume for it :)

Anyhoo. Thanks for the updates guys.
