So ive been trying to get an opportunity to use this stone for awhile now. Decided to touch up the straight razor , not that it particularly needed it but
Anyways , mud was built with a TomoNagura and worked well for 15 minutes or so , pausing only to wet down the dovo so the accumulated mud would slough back onto the stone.
Fun stone to use , hard , leaves a bautifull finish. Ken said it is softer than the Yaginoshima Asagi, I found this to be true , also seems slightly finer. Still more than hard enough for use on straights. Kens getting more of these in larger sizes.

Ken managed to track down a massive TomoNagura for me.

Leaves a great edge , heres the Dovo

Heres the Micrograph.
