Hig cap mags for Ruger 10/22

I've been thinking about getting some Hotlips 25 round mags for my Ruger 10/22. Anyone have experience with these? Good, bad, better choices?

I have had 2. One really sucked, and the other was just fine. All I can tell you is that its 50-50.

Butler Creek is generally accepted as making the best hi-caps for the 10/22.

IIRC, there were models with all plastic feed lips/ramps, and ones with metal feed lips/ramps.

The metal ones are better.

The Butler Creek Hot Lips are pretty good, but the BC Steel Lips have worked really well for me. Give it a few weeks and the mag prices will drop a little bit.
