What are the best hc folders on the market today? I found an old boker sodbuster in my collection the other day. I have purchased so many stainless/alloy knives the past few years I forgot how sharp hc knives can get. Thank you

If D2 is OK, Queen has an excellent selection.
You can also check knifeworks.com for Boker and Case.

That is the link of the year. Thank you.

The old Schrades are can't-misses, as well. I've been free-handing everything, and nothing beats carbon for a quick-but-deadly touch-up.

I always seem to buy carbon steel benchmades...I've had the D2 cabela's minigrip, 41mc, 960 and 32 morpho. Every Benchmade I've bought with the intent of me keeping it for myself has been in D2, actually.

Too bad the M2 disappeared before I could play with it.

In any case, all the Benchmade have performed pretty well. The most recent, the 960 and morpho, came far sharper than the 41MC and cabela's minigrip I bought a couple years ago. Those two are brand new, but the old ones held their edge quite well and I never had rust problems (unlike some of my stainless steels recently).

I am a real fan of MooreMaker knives. my EDC is a 3 7/8" 1095 carbon steel honey bone handle stockman. One of the nice things about the Mooremaker stockman is the Turkish style clip blade. I also have a 4 1/4 in stag, also 1095 steel. The stag and bone are made by Queen, the horn and yellow delrin handles are made by Camillus. These are definetlu worth checking out. You can see the entire line at this link.

I also know Big Bend Saddelry sels them as well as Cumberland Knives has a few.
