I like both High End and Low End Multi Tools. My pick is Leatherman Charge Ti for the high end and the Leatherman Blast for the Low End.

Does anyone else like a High End/Low end pick for their Multi Tools?

The three multi-tools i have are the Charge Ti , Supertool 200 and a Swisstool oh and a sak Huntsman .I guess the 3 multi-tools i have are all High end ones ,but i could do with a low end one as these tend to have less tools and so tend to be a bit smaller/thinner .Also some of the low end ones dont have a locking blade which would keep me on the right side of the Uk carry laws :( .So it looks like i might get a LM Kick in the near future which i could edc legally and have any of the other three high end ones for on the beach and down at the lifeboat station .Thanks Rick you've started a good thread and helped me address a problem.

I have a LM Wave, but it is pretty much retired now. The LM Juice line (S2 and Kf4) provide everything that I need in pliers-based multitools and are an excellent complement to an SAK or folder. The Squirt S4 is the scissors-based multitool that I use the most now. So, I guess my picks are "middle" and "low end".

I appreciate the idea, but if you own high-end tools why bother with the low-end? :D

I keep around tools in a variety of sizes and styles, but none of them are what I would consider low-end items.

I do have the high end Charge and I consider the Blast as being low end but I like it! What I am saying is there are things to like about low end tools as there are things to like about high end tools.

Customized SOG TiN Powerlock is my high-end tool.
My low end is a SAK Soldier or Farmer. (~20 bucks).

I keep the SAK on hand and the SOG nearby (bag).

Other High-end tools are my Cybertool 41 and LM crunch, which are rotated in when the need arisies.

I have an old wave, an EDC charge xti, a craftsman that rides in the dremel case, a Gerber "legend" which sits in a desk downstairs by my wife's PC, and the old leatherman micra with scissors that rides in the mission wallet. Iloved the old wave, and I really like the new charge. I have a Victorianox RS on the way, and I plan on getting a SOG powerlock one of these days.
