I was just checking out the Buck Web Specials and they have added some very nice High end Bucks. The Squire caught my eye but not in the budget for me.

Yes, I saw those earlier but wasn't able to post. Rather odd I thought, and not marked down much. Great to see more things on there though.

oc, I agree not a lot of discount. But like you, I like seeing them on there, they definitely will get a lot more looks there. Hopefully they do well and Buck starts to put more on the Web specials. Maybe some 300 series???? Please

Does seem weird that their Web specials are way higher than the same knives at the online stores. I understand for their regular production they can't undersell their retailers but if you're going to clear out stock as a web special why not just move it to your retail at a lower cost? Still I'm glad to see more items on the Web Specials as the last year or two it's been so lacking I don't even check it more than once a month or when someone starts a thread like this one. I miss the old days I guess.

I expect they would have offered them up to distributors at a further discount than usual first.

Can I use my 25% discount on web specials? I haven't read the card in a few days. Still too rich for my blood, though I've been eyeing the Carbon Dagger since it was in the catalog a year or two ago.

Those inflated prices are insane. Jacked up so-called regular price and then only a minor discount. Laughable.

They are on the Web and they certainly are Special. Very nice, but pricey.

They are customs. Limited builds. Spend but nice. Go Buck.

No, unfortunately, you cannot use any discounts what-so-ever here. These prices may drop over time if the items don't clear out. You can determine the item number count by adding it to your basket in large quantities and examining the remaining stock (for example, there are only five 501 WBC Squires remaining). One thing you can do is offer the store manager a lot price over the phone in a lets-make-a-deal clear the shelf offer (so you might offer $3k for the lot of Wild Bill Squires and see what they said).

Wild Bill Cody knows how to make a desirable knife doesn't he. Hunted and pecked and found this @ $410 so wonder if Buck store mngr. would match another store's price given clearance sale circumstance. I wonder...

I had only seen a black blade before you said that it was Damascus. So I lightened it a bit and now I see Rain Drop Damascus. You must not be blind like I am.

They added a Nobleman/nail clipper set for the more price conscious? :-)
I really wanted them but being imported made me pause.

I don't think that you can get nail nips made in the USA can you?

I will order the set, just to have the tiny Buck logo nips for display, next time I order from the Factory Store. I hope that a wholesaler doesn't scoop them up before then.

I carry auto opening, they have a small slide switch on the side and spring open, fold flat when not in use: stainless steel Cheng Tiang as my EDC. Home use nips are Seki Edge from Japan, stainless steel, never had it better.

Wow... I had to look and see what is on the web specials, and almost fell out of my chair. Seriously ? Maybe they are trying to enter
the high dollar knife market, but even at that, I think many of those knives will still be for sale 30 years down the road.
