I'm new to knife-making and having a problem finding a good high gloss finish for some of the exotic woods. I've reached 400 grit and steel wool, and tried two different gun stock waxes, which give me a nice finish, but with very little gloss. Can anyone suggest either product or procedure which will give me a really high gloss on woods such as bloodwood, kingwood, bocote and rosewood?
